Friction slows down orthodontic treatment

These braces reduce the friction between wire and bracket in the brace. This allows us to move teeth more rapidly than with a conventional fixed brace. Once fitted, these appliances need less adjustment and as such, appointments are generally further apart, making orthodontic treatment less disruptive on your lifestyle

The braces are also much less noticeable than normal as the metal blocks are smaller

There is some evidence to suggest that we can treat cases with less need for extractions
