Visible braces
Traditional braces come in different styles, each with its own benefits. It’s also possible to have a combination of different braces with concealed brackets on the upper teeth and traditional braces on the lower teeth, which are mostly barely visible.
Clarity is a much improved version of traintracks because the tooth-coloured ceramic brackets make the braces seem less obvious than metal brackets.
Low friction braces use lighter forces than conventional braces. Once fitted, they need less adjustment so that appointments are generally further apart, making orthodontic treatment less disruptive to your life. There is evidence that these braces allow us to move the teeth more quickly and there is less need for extractions.
A combination of either aesthetic or invisible braces on upper teeth and visible braces on the lower teeth, where they are hardly seen, is also possible.
